Save time tracking down missing goods

If you regularly ship items to customers or other companies, you will know that what seems like a straightforward task can prove extremely time consuming.
The average shipment will be quick and easy, but it only takes one package to go astray to eat into your working day considerably. If you send out large volumes of goods, things can really get out of hand.

You can easily spend hours and hours phoning people and looking into what has happened to your shipment. It may have been delivered and misplaced at the delivery address or it may have been misrouted or lost. If you use a courier company, this investigation will be a great deal easier because they tend to offer package tracking.

Every shipment you send will have its own tracking number and with that number you can see every stage of its journey. It’s rare, but things can go wrong. The big advantage of tracking is that you can see what has happened and react. You can inform the recipient what is happening and in most cases, this should be enough to keep everyone calm. People only get frustrated when no-one seems to know what is happening.
